Langka question
Will langka work on a factory touch up blob that is a week or so old and under two coats of zaino? The reason I am asking is that I touched up a couple of areas last week and had never heard of langka before and just figured the blobs were something you just had to put up with. I applied two coats of zaino on this weekend and read about langka and I have since ordered some in hopes of it working. Any tips? Is it possible? I hope I didn't waste 40.00. The blobs really look worse than the original ding. The touch up paint even looks darker. My car is sebring silver and I ordered factory gm sebring silver, but it looks darker. Any advice would be appreciated.

Here's what I would do. Take a Q-tip and dip it into rubbing alcohol and clean the blob and the immediate area (Zaino removal step). Langka the blob and retouch-up with paint if necessary. It has been my experience that Langka will remove blobs that are over a year old. The trick is not to over excavated the blob. It has also been my experience that the Langkaed blob will lose its gloss (making it appear a shade darker). You're going to have to experiment with this awhile. For larger chips, I've gotton a better repair by using multiple fill coats using a small artist brush or toothpick. Coloring may be off slightly but at least the gloss is there. Good luck! :cheers:
