will this work?

I have a C6 w/Automatic Trans. Z51 . If I leave the line w/tc on and turn it off 1 second or so after I hook up. 391 rwh can"t hook up until
2nd. I am talking about only Traction control at launch. Hope you understand my problem

I tried that method when I had an A4 C5 Coupe, but never worked as well as just getting accustomed to "feel" of gas peddle. TC off, launch at highest rpm w/o excessive spinning and feather in or just launch some feather and then hit....both seemed to work mostly dependent on track conditions which worked best....good luck.

Thanks for your reply. Forgot to tell you I have a 2800 stall converter and was hoping the tc trick would work. Raining every day so /won't be at the track any time soon

Forgetaboutit...You will NEVER get consistent launches with those tires.. if you only play at the strip 1 or 2 times a year.. live with it..

However if you are even "Semi Serious" about drag racing get a set of Drag Radials..
