No offense to the legit agents/brokers but many are nothing more than mental leprechauns.

Dave and all c4 guys with elims if you still have your resonator in place that is your muffler...Have them get under your car and show them. Thats step one then have them DB your car and there should be no prob..... The problem is they will not db your car without a muffler but with the resonator in place THATS your muffler....

This is exactly what I don't understand. The problem the track has with its neighbors is noise level, not what type of mufflers that someone runs. This is the same stupidity that they have in California with emissions. A modded car could run significantly cleaner than a stock car but if it has parts without an EO number you're out of luck.

I remember all of that and even when RT 9 was a cow path.

That's exactly right.

Chris is right.........is anyone debating this?. It looks like a muffler, smells like a muffler and serves the same purpose. Who says it's not? I assume 1 muffler will do and that you don't need 3 mufflers.

Great to see that it worked out for you...Had an issue at Capital after racing the same setup for years and one day was told of a new rule with Vettes only..

I'm hoping he's right cause i really don't have the money to spend on an exhaust. I think RP may let that slide for now, but i'm sure eventually they'll tell us to get mufflers on the rear of the car; thats what i got out of the convo with Paul

I don't see why........is there a rule that multiple mufflers are required? is it just for vettes?

er ah... Just keep in mind that straight through mufflers, bullet mufflers & resonators are not mufflers with at least two baffles that the rule clearly states is required. I would encourage everyone to read how the rule is written & try to stick to what it says to the letter. If you rewrite the rule to fit what you or someone you read about on the internet thinks it might could be should be, you may find yourself taking pictures or eating hot dogs while those with baffled mufflers are racing

mine is on the lift at this time, would be ironic if it were louder then before wouldn't it, but still within the rules
