I would think if your opponent red lights, you get the win, but if you go faster than the .08 breakout that is allowed, the new and faster et will be your dial-in for the next round.
Once the first guy goes RED, its an automatic win, but since there IS a .08 breakout rule, I was wondering if thats ALWAYS in effect, or if its out the window once the guy goes RED..
We should try to get a track clarification on it..

I figured it would be under the "first" or "worst" category. The red light is first so you win.
Not sure about this Ellis but I think in the TM if you go under you.08 you lose regardless of what your opponent does. I have heard over the PA that if both go under both lose. Not sure if your example results in a double lose though. Ask Mr. Bailey in the morning

Ed, we should all ask in the AM, but I called the track, spoke to Nick, who put me on hold to check for a few minutes, and he said you can run quicker than .08 once the other guy red lights without being disqualified.
