All right, I found my logbook and slip.
My exact et and mph are 8.658 @ 151.82. I was close.
The DA was actually 1452 according to my calculator. The temp was 77.2, the humidity was 52.7%, and the barometer was 30,30.
My time slip.
My friend's C4 would be the fastest on this list. He has run 8.26 @ 167mph, with a NA SBC. I don't know any other info though. He used to race with us in Hot Street. His forum name is Rockin' Al.

Sorry that it took me so long to speak up!!
Here is the data from my best run :
Car/year...................1985
Motor type/size..........SBC 440 c.i.
Suspension................Back-halved, 4-link, Strange coil-overs, 5.14 gears
Tires........................MT 31 x 10.5W
Approx. raceweight.....2750 with driver
Transmission type.......5 speed G-Force clutchless, Ram dual 7" clutch
DA if known...............-190 (mineshaft air!!)
Track.......................Great Lakes Dragaway
ET and mph...............8.190 @ 165.92 mph
Actually, this was a fugly run. The motor died on the top half of the track. The car usually runs 170+.
I'll post the time slip soon.
This run was made during a Super Street race on September 15, 2007. The DVD for that race shows this run. I think you can still purchase the DVD at the Great Lakes Dragaway website.

They have titanium valves (2.25 intake, 1.55 exhaust) and they flow around 390-400 cfm. I use LSM valve springs (over 1000 pounds at full lift).

That's some huge flow.. I've only seen that kind of flow on ported SB2 heads.... I'm considering to go with 18 degree or SB2 heads myself when I'm ready to change setups..

If you want maximum performance, go with the GM Splayed Valve cylinder heads. They are not cheap, though.
If you want driveability, go with an LSX motor. Those engines have made some serious NA horsepower also.
If cost is an issue, go with the 18 degree heads. There are a lot of used heads out there, so the cost is low. However, there is a lot of junk out there also.
I see that you are located in Clearwater. I'm over in Tampa. I work for BMR Fabrication. We make aftermarket suspension parts. Unfortunately, we don't do much for the Corvette.

I'm not sure about 18 degree heads, but SB2 heads require different lifters. I know that both require different pistons but I believe that the stock lifters can be used for 18 degree heads? Right?
I've seen assembled heads on Ebay with up to 400 cfm flow rates (intake) for less than $3k ... That's about the maximum that I want to spend on heads.. The goal is to run low to mid 8's or even 7's on a 400 shot.. Well, it'll probably take 1 - 2 years before I'm ready to upgrade my heads..
