It's real bad on these C6s, just a series of nasty computer intrusions and inconsistent reactions to pedal inputs. Tuning can only remove so much of it too.
A more mods come (ie: Vararam, higher stall torque converter) you will find that you might be able to drive around some of it though it takes some practice.
Question. I have a C5 that I tune myself. I have removed torque management (disabled) completey.
Looks like from this thread you cannot do that on a C6. True?

True. Especially on the latest models (2008s/2009s).
Many people do believe that they have removed it completely on their C6s when in fact they haven't, there are so many hidden tables and 'secret areas' that the current software can't even see so it's almost impossible to remove it all completely.
That's not to imply or infer that proper tuning doesn't help these cars because it most certainly does, this have been both track and dyno proven.
Even on your C5 it's unlikely that you actually got it all...but on those cars there are fewer hidden tables/cells and also what is left behind is not quite as invasive or performance prohibitive as it is on the C6s so the C5s fair much better.

On the C5 it's one pick of the mouse. Torque Management, pick disable. No doubt in my mind it's gone completely. However, I have been wrong before.
I gotta say after Cartek did just a basic tune.. (No Dyno) the car felt stronger all the way up to 6300 rpm...
I've read the the intake air temp has a MAJOR effect in how much timing the computer will pull out of it...that alone could be the cause of my problems with consistency..
I've ordered a Vararam intake... hopefully this will help with my low end problem... I'll also have Julio put it on the Dyno.. that + me learning how to launch will hopefully make it more consistant...
JP, I'm sorry I'm just seeing this post now. You could have picked up my spare DR's from my house on the way to MG. In theory you don't really need them yet, but at least you would have had a choice. Sorry I missed it.
