Ok, here I go. First round I was .004 lifting to a 11.57, 2nd round I was .033 lift and went 11.62, 3rd round I was .037 and I went 11.52. Going into the quarter finals against Dixon ~ 10.00 GTO. I was .080 (worse light of weekend) to his .160. I dimped and scrubbed off 8mph and still broke out with a 11.45 @ 108mph to his 10.03 @ 129mph. Dixon was in 3rd place going into this event. I went in holding first place. I think I am still safe with a large gap since he went two rounds further then me. Indy will be the race of all races, bringing the A game with me ~ all business.

Ok that clears it up a little better, I was a little confused after reading the ladder sheets. Unless I was reading them wrong, it looked like you had won in round one and then suddenly disappeared LOL.
Congrats on goin' rounds and gettin' into the semis.

Just a heads-up: I have like 1,800 frames from our race coverage, and about 100 have made it to the site so far. As soon as I can figure out a good way to put them all up on LSXtv and Corvette Online, I'll let you know.
Oh wow I forgot about that part...and that's 3 out of 4 with the last one (Indy) being mandatory attendance for the points to count of course.
So Rob does have to do well there but I still think he might only need to take a round or two to clinch it based on his awesome performances at the first two races, even if Don were to win the whole thing (which won't be easy considering some of the talent that often shows up at the Shootouts).
Points standings prior to Bowling Green I believe:
1) Rob Farley - 1290
2) David Saunders - 890
3) Don Dixon - 700
Rob is probably still driving back but he is not going to be happy. Per Bobby Barrick, Dixon might have taken the points lead factoring a drop. Dixon went two more rounds for 200 and Rob would have to drop a 500 pt race and Dixon a 200 pt race meaning Dixon picks up another 300 and then there is the qualifying point difference too.
Rob has already said he will be all business at the shootout but they might be going in there separated by less than a round.

Wow, LSx Rumble at Indy is really going to be somethin' to see.
Ok, I'll take one for the team. If Rob feeds me two cheeseburgers on Friday evening and one of those yummy steaks he makes on Saturday (and pays for my hotel & entry fees )
I will be sure to line up with him 1st round and give him (like he wouldn't just take it anyway LOL) the win light so he can secure some points.

I am not worried about the points. I will do what I have been doing, killing the tree and running the number. No dumping and thinking it is good enough. I will do what I have done in the past - dump and tighten it up to .00X. I will not make the same mistake again and costing me the event.

It was a pleasure to meet you. Maybe we will see you at Indy.
The Vette was dropped of at ECS for a full make over. The exterior will remain the same. They are going through the car to make sure she is ready for Indy.
