Edgar its all been said so I won't repeat. NO ONE has done more for Corvette Racing, covering every sanctioning body than you have. It has required huge amounts of time and travel. It will take all of us doing our little part to attempt to fill your shoes. Paul Jr and I wish you the best in 2012 and tell the Red Sled to get rested up because I think you guys will be back-its a terminal disease that can only be temporarily cured. God Bless

I know I'm being a little repititious, but thank you Edgar for everything you've done. You have meant a lot to drag racing and the Corvette community. You've taken our series to the next level, supported other Corvette Challenges around the country and represented the Vette Doctors & the Corvette community well on the track and in your travels. You've won 2 championships, a couple of rings and a Wally, as well as the respect of a lot of other racers like myself. I think I speak for all of us when I say you will be greatly missed and I hope a year off will re-energize you.

Edgar, I totally understand your bowing out. You've done more for Corvette drag racing and as all the guys have all commented, you will be sorely missed. 
But, for the last 8 years of going to the CC and all the fun I had, and friends I made, I realize none of that would have been possible if you had not been busting your *** working and making it happen. I guess I moved to FL at the right time. Wishing you and your family the best Edgar! 
I know you'll do well with whatever you decide and I really expect that one day.....you'll be baaaack!
