Good Morning Everyone... In order to keep our Corvette Challenge going for 2014 I am reaching out to anyone who may be interested in becoming a sponsor for our race series.

How hard is it to call the track for details? The track even have sponsor packages that explain all the details that they can mail to you.
Deciding not to pursue something due to one persons lack of knowledge should not be a reason to walk away. Either ask someone else, post in here, call the track, go to the tower, ask Michelle at the cash window.....

Also keep in mind that you can send a question to Bob or Myself ( redvette_98@hotmail.com ) and we will do our best to get you the answers. Last year I sent out a "blanket" email to all the names Etown had on file, with email addresses, and I only got a handful of responses back. While I don't think everybody liked the answers they got back, I think they all were answered....at least I hope so anyway. We strive to keep things going but without support in the way of sponsors & car counts (especially car count..!!), it is an uphill battle.

Eric, I'm back and will to take up some of the slack but no one could take Edgar's place. I would like to see Edgar return to the series in at least a IT function to maintain the web site. Now I need a group effort to get that accomplished. How about it Edgar?

.... but we still need help. While all the details may not be worked out yet by Raceway Park, they still need to have an idea of what to expect. If we don't have any major or presenting sponsors it is impossible to get considerations for the schedule. Most businesses are already done with their 2014 business schedules, but if you know anybody who might be interested in sponsoring, please let us or Raceway Park know. The email I received just last week still has nobody on board, and sponsors don't have to just be automotive, anybody who wants some exposure for their business "all day long" during each event should be interested. Any help is appreciated, we can't possibly hit every possible business to ask for sponsor money, this event relys on racer support & sponsor support to stay alive.

I should be on the list I would think..

Shame RP don't send out renewal forms to previous sponsors, the CCC (Corvette Challenge coordinators) who ever they are, should contact those sponsors asap.

I called Cheryl and asked her to mail me the sponsorship info when you guys first posted this. I waited but I did not receive anything, then I filled out the request directly on the Raceway Park web site. This got her attention. Cheryl call and stated that she had my request.....

FYI, this is the type of thing that just wears out the sponsors and makes them move on.
Good luck next season guys, but ECS has decided to put our sponsorship monies into other events.
