Guys, there was no statement made about Index classes coming back to Saturday, the comment was "what the track was doing in the way of consolidating low car count classes". It may have been their desire to get more cars involved by moving the Index racing to Sunday (to allow non muffler cars to enter) but I don't think even that happened. At this point there are no plans for an 11.50 Index, or others for that fact, back to Saturday at this time. There are some plans in the works to modify some Saturday racing policies but they are only things "being thrown out" by staff & management.

Without taking the time to read all the responses, since I don't have much free time, here's my take: We need racers more than sponsors.
If we don't get a car count, we won't have a series.
We all pay the gate fees and points fees like all the other classes, so we will still get our first round and winners trophies.
The sponsors brought in the prize money really.
I don't care about the money, I just want the trophy and it's been a while since I got one.
The last three years I missed out on the jackets even though I was in the top ten or higher. They kept changing the rules.
We need to forget all the bull that went on in the other CC classes and get back to basics.
Tell your friends, we need new guys as well as the regulars to keep this thing going.
As it was in Field Of Dreams, "build it (the series) and they(sponsors) will come."
