Default Drag radial question

Im going to get a set of drag radials and Im not sure what to get? BFG or Nitto's. What are the prices of the two and how long does each usually last with normal wear. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Joe

Many will dispute anything posted on this topic but based on my experience with a 12 second car, the BFG is the best choice for a drag-only tire with very little street use. The Nitto does a good job at the track but is great if you have a high horsepower car that refuses to hook on the street with a normal street tire. Both are comparable in price although for wear, the BFG will last @ 5000 miles whereas the Nitto can last up to 30k.

Thanks for the response. Im going to be using the radials for both street and strip. So Im guessing the Nittos are better? Also, what should I expect to pay for a pair of them?

Thanks,
Joe

What Bravery has posted is correct, although I heard a runor that BFG was raising prices.

The Nittos will last longer for street driving while the BFG's will definitely hook better on the track.

The BFG's don't need as much heat they are pretty sticky from get0go.

If you spend more time on the street you are better off with the Nitto, but if you want to spend more time at the track, get the BFG.
