As I stare at my mid-November ship time for my Weld front runners, I am thinking about getting some interim wheels. Has anyone had any bad experiences with Vision wheels? They are pretty cheap (probably heavy), figure this would be better than going the GTO spare route which just feels scary to me.

While the GTO spare wheels work perfectly fine (as long as you run real racing tires on them) some tracks are not allowing them. I made thousands of passes on mine before somebody who works at both my local tracks took issue with the fact that not only do the tires say "For temporary use only", apparently the wheels do to.

If your track doesn't care then they're a cheap alternative.

wow that sucks, when i ordered mine, and every time i check, they alway had in stock. Maybe your size is a rarer size. For the gto spares, don't you have to run a large spacer? I have seen some vision wheels out at the track. Just don;t know how strong they are. As it would suck ot hit a pot hole and have them bend. At least we know the gto spares were built to handle a 4000lb car.
