Mark no only the Heavy and Super Pro class points racers are banned and he is neither.

 

I just got in after running 6 rounds in the Import race with my HOT HONDA.. I was dialed at ready for this..... 19.90 for most of the day..

One thing for sure is...those guys (Import Class) cant come close to the caliber of racers in our Corvette Challenge...

I dont mean to brag, but only two other guys in my class were any kind of racers.. Brian Mullany who beat me in the Final by .007

We split the payout $250 win & $200 runner-up..

As we were starting Rd#1 some kid saw me in my little old 1989 Tan Civic dialed at almost 20 sec, & he let 3 cars go around him just so he could "Get ME"

:D He had a very short day..


& the kids were still swapping lanes to try to get to the EASY mark in the little tan car... by Round 4 No-ONE wanted to line up vs me or Brian.. so Our own Dennis Kasmir grabbed the first car he saw trying to change lanes & MADE him run me.. Then Wayne (also runs the lanes) had the tower make up a ladder to stop all the BS..

I had a Great weekend.. 5 points on Sat... & $200 today. I think the 5 points I got Sat.. were 100 times HARDER.. the CC dont have "Ducks"

Love racing my Vette, but ya gotta love Imports when the pay that kind of $$ to race people who average .680 on the tree... (Honest)

so what does it take to win vs the imports? You must have been within .1 of your dial every time, or were you within .05? What about your R/Ts? MJ

(Just saw you answered Q2 in another thread: "in 6 rounds of racing with my 89 Honda my worst light was .580 Best .503" )
