1.39!
First time out with the new combo, a couple of little problems, rain delays, damp track, car hadn't been started in almost a year, old gas, low gas stumble, blah, blah, blah. Soooo many adjustments to choose from, I'm so confused, front shocks, tire pressure, rear shocks, bounce & rebound, spring heights, IC, preload, eek! Figured out enough to get it going 1.39 60' by the 3rd full run, then another one at 1.42 lastly another 1.39 with a best of 10.73@124 in 2400 DA. Lot's of potential, mucho tuning left to do to engine & suspension, but nothing fell off and nothing broke!
I'm a happier camper now, Dave :party:
Here is a still photo from the very first launch on Saturday. Note I didn't even close the door completely I was in such a hurry to make a pass. Will post the video soon.

The SR engine combo is exactly as I parked it after the last rear broke in Sept.'02!
Didn't check anything, even the same oil & gas!
TH-350, Coan converter, 9", MT Drags.
Wheelsup took a video we'll post if it turned out.

Wowsie.... a 1.39 60 ft is the quickest for a naturally aspirated true street car I've personally seen !!! Congrats Dave !!
Deep 10's too..... that will easily become 10.5's and maybe even quicker when the good air starts appearing within the next few months.
