Default Off Set Trailing Arms

I have a 75 4 speed Vette. I would like to know if any body is using off set trailing arms for more tire clearance. I need to know if there are any problems in using them. I want to fit a 10 wheel on the rear and not have the tires hanging out of the fender well very much. Are there any problems installing them?

Probably get a better response in the C3 General Forum.

Come on you guys, I know SOMEBODY out there is using these off set trailing arms. Lets here from you. I am going to have another brew while you think about it, Are they worth the $$$ to put them on? Is there a better way to increase tire size? I dont want to change the rear end in my car. If I do, I am going to a 9 inch ford and 15 inch wide Convo Pro wheels, tubs, and a 4 like set up.

I run offset T-arms with 9" Weld Draglites. I too wanted a 10" wheel and no sticking out past the fenderlip. I originally ordered 10",and after trial fitting, found the rim stuck over an inch past the fender, without the tire even mounted. I ended up with a VB wheel adaptor 1 1/4" thick, and Weld 15x9 wheels with a 5 1/2" BS. The result is a near perfect fit with P295 50's. I may try a set of P325 50's when I need to replace the tires, but the Drag radial price and short tread life is a concern.
My website has some pics.
