Default Crane XE Cams

I've been reading some bad posts on the Crane XE series of cams. I'm sorta sick reading them tonight as I just ordered in a new Comp Cam XE-274H-10. Many people have posted about premature wear problems in anything big block. Anyone have any success with these cams?

I had good success with a Comp XE flat tappet. Nice cam.
Half the people that badmouth parts either installed/adjusted it wrong,
or ordered the wrong part in the first place hoping it would run like "their buddy's car". That makes all parts a P.O.S.
Take it with a grain of salt....Crane's been around for a long time and also make a good line of products.

Are we talking about Comp Cams XE series. I was not aware that Crane had an XE series too.

I've got an XE in mine. No problems. Even ran the double springs during breakin.
