you're on your own, no one has it as far as I know and the banks stuff won't fit because of the wastegate position.
Now..what if I would sell mine, it's a bolt on deal...like banks but custom..1 off piece...should easily bring 15K LOL..then I could build a big nasty 434 or something
Kinda figgered I was on my own. They used to sell kits for the C2.... but no more. I'm conversing with a web turbo dealer as we speak.
Have 2 four-bolt blocks, but I'm leaning toward aluminum or the WC 454 block. We'll see. Engine bay is empty.... no emissions to deal with... clean drawing board.... flared wheel wells.
Technology is changing fast.... there has to be something that will almost drop right in.
No A/C
No power brakes
No smog stuff
Lots of room to play
Here is what they suggested for 450 to 500 hp at the rear wheels..
twin T04E/T3 57 trim with .48 a/r turbine housings will support what you
want at a low PSI
$569 each
banks makes a twin turbo kit for the early sbc but i don't think it is model specific but i know you can buy torbo manifolds from them separately that would cut down a lot of fab work. Sorry if it is repetetive info
Tom - this place sells back issues. the 03 1997 has an article on the Greenwood 1981 Daytona TT racing vette. I saw one of these in a race shop after it had been retired in a California race shop.
Boy I screwed that up! It was Vette Magazine. I came across a link to a place that sold old issues for $6.00 each. When I go to work on Monday I'll look through my history. I can't find it today.
My memory is foggy, but as I remember the 80's road racing. Just like today GM was backing a two Vette TT team. The Greewood's and other were privateer copys. In the last few years I have attended the American Le' Mans Series. There were always other C-5's than just the two factory yellow teams. It's hard to beat cubic $$$$$$.
