help 383 problem
i have a 91 auto and i had a 383 installed with 195 afr heads and cam 224/230 lsa @114. superram intake 1 3/4 headers 24# bosch injectors, 255lph walbo fuel pump, adj. fuel pressure reg. i had a chip made by fastchip. if i run the car at 3/4 throttle it runs great but if i go WOT when i get to about 4300 rpm. it stops the fuel for about 5 seconds then the fuel will kick back in and run fine. the fuel pressure stayed at 42# all the time. we adj. that and the timing a few different times but no help. i am at my second mechanic and still noone can find the problem someone please help me

Does the fuel flow actually stop? Or does the engine just go flat then? 5 seconds is a long time. Are you still at WOT during that time and when it starts running good again, or have you lifted?
My best guess is that the engine is going lean on you at WOT when you get to 4300 rpm and that you need to have some more work done on that chip.
