Yes, it can be done. Try posting this in C4 tech. There are a few over there that have done it. Not sure about the Turbo 400. Anything can be done with a little fabricating.
Years ago back when C-4 were still in production a place in Colorado whas making BBC c-4's I saw one at a a car get together. Well if you thought changing your spark plugs was hard now don't even think about this project.
You have to install the headers first and then lower the block in. the front cross member area was radically changed. The radiator was an aluminum thing about four inches or more thick. The injection intake had been really milled down.
The car i saw had one of the first 502 ci motors that GM released
I've never done this swap, but if you check in back issues of Corvette Fever and Vette you can find articles showing what is involved. Depending on who was doing the swap it is either a real pain or not all that bad.
If memory serves me right four of the keys to making this swap work out is to 1) use a smaller harmonic damper, 2)move the steering rack forward ~ 1.5", 3) fab a simple crossmember for the TH400, 4) section the heater core box for cylinder head clearance.
