Default stock looking intake

Ok the RHS iron heads are ordered. The 400 2 bolt block is sourced. I've planned the rams horn exhaust. Now for an intake. i will want to use a 750-850 carb and a good intake. i see you can buy a z28 type intake in cast iron. a lot of stock vettes ran aluminium so i can probably go either way. what is a good 6500 RPM stock or GM performance intake. cant have a big ol victor jr under there or it will blow the whole scam. any suggestions. want to look as stock as possible for a 65 small block vette.I'm not trying to fool any vette experts , just some local buddies.

Stick a quadrajunk on there. There ought to be some decent manifolds for them. They are a good carb with plenty of CFM, and stealth as hell. Nothing is less impressive, visually, than a quadraflush.

RACE ON!!!

LT1 intakes were aluminum, used Holley squarebore carbs and made better pwr. U can find'm on ebay and swapmeets but not cheap - $250 or more. Hard to see full condition on ebay though - can't see cracks.
Try casting numbers 3972110 for 1970 and 3959594 for 1971 & 72.

If u want something unique i have a Duntov Z single plane made by Holley with the GM foundry snowflake logo, low profile, has both the square and spread-bore bolt pattern - in good shape too. Not stock but a period piece. PM me if interested.
