Dumb question maybe,but.......





regular,adjustable, and then heat treated.
I would assume heat treated would be for extreme builds
So ,as far as the others,is the adjustable one more of a PIA than it is worth for the average size cam swap?(224/228 580ish 114 lsa)
The reason I am asking is because I have found a good deal on an adjustable one,but I am going to attempt this cam swap myself
AND,I am not sure that I might not "mess up "the timing with one of these little goodies,since I have no experience with them
So,are they straight forward to use? Or am I setting myself up for a slight meltdown......can I mess it up easily?
Maybe an ls2 chain is all I need......that would be the easiest anyways,,,
