Bench Racing on a budget.
Take a forged 502 short block from GM for $3829.
add a big split duration cam $300
a decent set of 118cc chamber heads. $how much u got left?$
and a big butt shot of nitrous.
~750hp+, talk about fun! :D
I was thinking about doing something similar to this, prolly using more used parts, cept the rotating assembly.
Anyone else feel like spitting out some budget big HP motors.

I'm building one on a budget.
$3000 427 short block, all forged, 4-bolt mains.
$1500 on massively reworked heads (iron)
$1000 for solid roller cam, lifters, roller rockers, studs
$700 for Gold claw carb
$500+ for incidentals.
630 horse 427 for under 7 grand.
...good torque, great rpm's.
