Default GM LSX Tall deck block

Does anyone know the part number for the tall-deck version of the new GM LSX block?

Monty have you seen the Motown Aluminum Warhark LS7X blocks? The part # 086525 has a 9.800" deck, 4.115" bore with 2.559" mains. They also come with provisions for 2 extra studs per cylinder for high boost application

Yes, unfortunately I've been waiting on it (the Warhawk LS7X) for nearly a year. They're starting to trickle out now but still in short supply. I'm debating between the tall deck Warhawk (aluminum and ~$4500) and the tall deck LSX (cast iron and ~$2500). I like the weight savings of the aluminum block, but based on my previous experience with the 1200hp twin turbo SBC 427 I built a few years ago, the strength and durability of the cast iron block is beneficial.

My new 2007 GMPP catalog only has one LSX block number - #19166454 which is a LSX Bowtie Standard Deck Block with 9.26 deck height.

Good luck Monty.
