Alright, I have a 04 z06. Its a 346 and I plan on forging the bottom end. I was wondering what the biggest solid roller I would be able to put in it? I plan on mostely drag racing the car with little street cruises every once in awhile. Any suggestions?
One of the west coast guys here on the Z-06 forum got tired of hot rodding a little motor and installed the LS-6 4 inch stroker package with lots of work and big solid roller. It is @ 408 ci.
I've always been a fan of big CFM heads and high lift solid rollers with less duration as a way to big power numbers for any ci level.
I had a SR 355 and still have a spare SR383 and drive 434 ci in my Vette.
For 350ish ci motor that will do a max of 7500 rpm. All you need for a cam is @ 236/242 @ .050 and use low to mid .600 lift with some steeper ramp profile
