Replacing 85 digital dash with autometer white faced gauges. Pics inside
Ive been all over the internet trying to find a very clean and nice way to rid myself of the ugly star wards looking dash cluster. Most of the lights are so dark i cant see them and i dont wanna pay to have it rebuilt. I found these pics on the net and this is EXACTLY what im doing. I ordered all the gauges identical and im gonna run the same gauges exactly. Ive already got water/oil in my pillar pod. What do you guys think? it beats the tach mounted in front of the dash and the dim stock gauges.

nice job. Crouse addressed more guages then above (ie directionals, high beems, etc), which are important for a street car. Alot of stuff in there if you think about it. Good luck.

When I get my car straightened out I would also like to do a analog conversion. How do you deal with the factory vent and and the side molding that is in the factory LCD bezel.

Yeah I retained the bezel/vent but cut out the center portion with a jigsaw so the new dash panel would fit flush against the backside. I cut in the little groove that goes all the way around.
