Finishing up some details. Headers are done, exhaust system is being made. The SpedDirect Steeroids rack and pinion kit still ins't out yet, so the stock steering is back on. Probably going to convert to a dry sump oil system. Otherwise it's pretty much done, except getting it repainted this winter.
You guys going to the Vettefest next week? Are you showing your car again?

I think Nickd and myself will be there on Sat. My car will not be there.. it has no interior at the moment.. I am swapping out the 89 dash for a 91 dash.. big job.. but atleast I am getting somewhere.. I hope to have it done this winter
I hear ya, I would've been done by now myself, but I had to take 2 months off becuase I was forced into a job change, i.e. laid off. But all's well that ends well - more money, more stability, shorter commute, and shorter working hours...
I'll be there saturday morning, from 9 to noon, I'll look out for you.
I'm planning on entering my car in the spring Vettefest. I should have it painted by then.
Speaking of which - you had D&M paint yours didn't you? From what I've seen, they do good work. Are you happy with your's? There's another place, called Sigler's in Skokie/Morton Grove area, I've heard alot of good things about. I guess they do alot of street rods, muscle cars, show cars, etc. I haven't talked to them yet though. I want to find someone with Corvette experience, becuase I'm replacing my front and rear urethane bumpers. Mine are getting wavy and have some very fine spider cracks in them. From what I hear, there's usually more to it than simply removing the old one and bolting on the new one.
