dump piston replacement question
Looking down the block bore they look flawless. actually look like the day I brought it home from the machine shop.
Can I simply replace the pistons/rings with exact part numbers and be very close to balanced, or will it just be a toss up?
I have plans to build a new 406 engine later for boost, and it seems almost a shame to scrap this 355 when all it needs are pistons and minor head repair.
Having 2 vettes and wanting more mods on the stock one is forcing me to be a little on the cheap side with this 355.
