Default bigblock vs smallblock

Hi
My name is Patrik and I write from Sweden, I have a vette 72 with a 383 smallblock, and I wont to have more horsepower.
I think I have around 450 hp.
Í wonder if the big block are a better engine for me?, or can I hot up my 383 anymore.?

How about a nice centrifugal supercharger. Put a Procharger, Vortech, or Paxton on there and get a carburetor made for it. That engine will be a totally different animal with 5psi of boost on it. It'll look cool too.

AFR 205 heads, hydraulic roller cam greater than .5" lift, Performer RPM Air Gap intake with a 750 cfm carb. That should get you there.
