I bought this 84 knowing the engine had a loud knock. Took motor out and disassembled. Now I see I need new heads the 624s are cracked. Any ideas or suggestions for casting numbers that would be a solid replacement? Not looking to spend a ton but would like to improve horse power if it's not to costly. thanks Bob:

Find a set of 86 to 89 aluminum heads. Should be relatively cheap.

They (L-98) will raise your compression a good bit as they only have a 58 CC Combustion Chamber. I don't know if it will be too high or not. Post on C4 Tech or try the Crossfire site for info.
