Marshall Engines
383, TRW hypereutectic 4vr pistons, reconditioned rods - big end balanced, polished, something to the small end, too; magged AND sonic tested, bored .030 over, align honed, square decked, clearanced block, the crank journals are honed, the oil galley is polished (or something to that effect), crank is turned either standard or 10/10, the entire assembly is balanced, Clevite 77 bearings, moly rings, roller timing chain, balanced flexplate and harmonic balancer. It seems there was something else done too, but I cannot remember right now.
Is this another too good to be true situation. I understand that they do a lot of volume, so I could see how their prices might be less than a local shop, but still, this is like a $2500 short block here. Thanks
