That sounds like a killer engine you have there. What are the specs on your camshaft? What heads are you running and please give us the details on your Fuel Injection system. Thanks.
How does the engine idle with that camshaft? What RPM does it idle at and how much vacuum is it pulling at idle? Is that a Crane Camshaft? I noticed that the specs @ .50 are similar to a Crane profile but the lift is greater. Are you running greater than 1.7 to 1 rockers? I am curious what spring pressures you have closed and open and how well the Hydraulic lifters are holding up to that much lift. Which lifters are you running? Also, can you run the F.I. in closed loop or must it remain in open loop? I know this is a lot of questions but I would appreciate the info since I plan on a future cam change and switch to F.I. for my 540. Thanks for all of the info.
It idles between 650 and 850 rpms with 8-10 inches of vacuum. My power brakes still work as stock. Custom grind, I think that told me it was Comp Cams. Yes, 1.7 rockers. Not sure of spring pressure or lifters. I run closed loop and speed density.
