L-98 back pressure ?
I am going to do a new exhaust system on a L-98 with long tube headers no cats exc.. exc... I was thing of 2.5 inch with open style mufflers. I just want to make sure that the L-98 does not need some sort off back pressure???

doesnt actually need it, but you might need something like a heated O2 sensor for the exhaust

Nope, dont need it. I did before and after dyno tests on my exhaust in various stages. Alot of people said you will lose low end torque without having a little backpressure. I gained trq and hp at all rpms. My exhaust is pretty freeflowing (see sig)
