Anyone have Problems with LPE?
My dad and I are considering sending his C4 to LPE, or possibly getting a C5 and doing the same, but after hearing all these Hennessey horror stories, i just wanted to make sure the same thing hasn't happened with Lingenfelter, i havn't heard anything, but i'm just making sure. BTW, that S/C'd C5 is bad*ss!!! :cheers:

I wouldn't go as far as having NO Problems. IF and WHEN a problem exists, THEY WILL CORRECT IT. I am proof of this matter. It was in-convenient..but the car had a detonation problem(A little too much timing) and it was corrected cost free(I had to pay shipping to and from) but it was corrected. They're human....Sometimes a problem can come around after the car is back to you. BUT, like I said..they'll take care of it if need be. 100% Certain of that. Also, I had a fresh paint job...I was a little concerned about that. Well, no worries..the car came back as it left...PERFECT condition(It did when it was Red also the first time it went there). They take great care to not damage or harm anything on EVERY Car. Very professional organization.

Nope...not to worry there. BTW, my 11.84@117 was the first time out on somewhat helpless tires,and detonating the entire way down. It's a wonder how the motor is still in one piece..but it is. My 12.1@117 was almost picture perfect on street tires, a slight spin, then took off hard. They build a durable quality piece. You'll enjoy whatever package it is you choose from them.

I did some CAD consulting work for John a couple of years ago. His shop is very impressive. If I had the cash I would send my car to him with no reservations. The shop is about an hour from my house, it is cool to see his cars written up in car mags and think that I have done work for him before.

Every time I delt with LPE is has been great. The last time I called John answered the phone himself. :yesnod: They are a great shop with an outstanding reputaion for quailty and service. I talked to him at the Corvette reunion he was not snobby or stuck up at all. He was standing aorund un-noticed like a regular Corvette fan.
A great guy, you can't go worng with LPE.

yes they are humans. Ordered a set of Superram gaskets. Took 2 weeks, but I got 'em. If I had the ca$h, I too would send my car there. In a heartbeat.

i live 45 min away from them. been there cool shop and they answered my question that i asked about my 85 vette. im noit sure the do vettes under i think 91(im not sure coukld be wrong) but i know they do all 91 and up sumthing about being newer cars they dont do many older vettes jus build the motors i think?? i would let them do mine but i do have 12000 bucks jay

you prolly saw mine there last summer! in two days it'll be a year they received it back for a little computer tweaking. It's been strong as a bull like it's always been!
