Default Dart Iron Eagle Small Block Build

If anyone was thinking of building an engine from scratch, this is the way I went. Being an engine repair mechanic before becoming an engineer helped.

And with cool air intake system with dual 450 CFM filters. Had to move my air horns to the frame in front of the engine.

And I've got about 8200 miles on it now.

Not bad for being normally aspirated -- no turbo, no supercharger, no nitrous

Thanks so much for the complement. Yes, the spiral turbo mufflers inside those side pipes with 436 inch displacement does sound sweet to me.

Very nice looking and as it shows nicely (understatement here) performing engine!

What fuel are you running on, if I may ask? Really like the cool air intake, but at over $600,- a little over my budget

Thanks for the appreciation. With almost 12:1 compression I can't run just premium, so I run 100 octane, which fortunately for me is right down the street about a block away. It's now at $7/gal, but nothing but the best for the beast. Happy St. Patty day.

Oh well, at $2,38 per liter for 95 octane over here (Netherlands) I'm hoping to get away with that at 10.7:1 compression.

Love the C2 too, by the way!
