How much can you mill 1999 ls1 heads?
Going to run a 228 cam and want around 11 to 1 static compression
mill the heads 20 thousands and use new gm stock head gaskets? Or ???????

You need to be down around 59cc on those heads to get to 11:1 on a stock bottom end LS1. The stock heads are on 66cc. At about .006-.007" per cc, you need to mill about .040" off those heads.
