Shafiroff Engine more Compression ???
Hi @ all
I have a 434 cui Shafiroff Engine (the Classic with the extendet Cruising version) The Engine has a 9,5:1 Comp.
The Heads are AFR 210 with 75CC Combustion Chamber.
I will go to a higer Compression. When i use the 210 Heads with 65cc Chambers, what is then the Compression ratio ??

I would contact Shafiroff, Im buying one of their engines and they seem very helpful. I wouldnt be surprised if there is an easier way to restore your motor to it's original compression or have them bump it higher without spending a lot of money.

by just changing the heads, I would guess about 1 point higher.
Use this calculator here if you know the dimensions. I took a guess at your setup and came up with a 1 point difference higher.
