Hi Guys::
Well, I finally got my ProTopline aluminum heads, and my engine will be reassembled soon. I have the 180cc intake 64cc chamber 23* lightning heads, going on a standard bore 350. Pro tech support suggests the felpro 1034 head gasket. The ProTopline catalog also lists the felpro 1034 for my heads. If I'm not mistaken, the 1034 is listed for a 400ci bore!! Any engine experts out there can can either explain this to me, or suggest a gasket that will work with the same .041 squish for my application!! Pro Tech support has not answered my emails about the 1034 gasket... :confused: :confused: :confused:
Yep, the Felpro 1034 is intended for a 400, that's what I use. You could use it on a 350, but you'd need to consider the larger gasket bore when you calculate your compression ratio.
Thanks Monty.. I called tech support in three different avenues..and none of them suggest the 1034 for my application. I will keep digging.. hopfully by the weekend I can come up with an answer cause I'm getting impatient..
Good Luck with your project... can't wait to see it "LIVE"

Silvr, if you're interested, I will try to find out through my engine builder the name of the company that makes custom head gaskets for Nascar, Mallett, and my motor. ;-) The bore size we are using on my 383 is a 4.035". I think most are 4.100" if I'm not mistaken. Send me an e-mail if you want me to persue it.
Thanks for the offer H, but MountainMotor has solved my problem and ended my search. The FP 1010 is the ticket!!! If your out there Curtis..."thanks"
