Porting a miniram
I need to know who can port a miniram, so it will flow over 300 cfm, to match my heads.I have gasket matched mine to a 1206 gasket, but I know it needs more work than that, to get close to what the heads will flow.

Have you flowed your heads alone, then flowed them with the intake attached to see what the restriction is?
http://www.totalengineairflow.com has mentioned that they are 'bread boxing' an LT1 intake now, and I might have mine done also. The LT1 guys have done a few of them. They cut the top of the intake off port it, then tap the top of the intake for bolts and bolt the top back on.
I did some flow tests awhile ago, and the TFS head flowed 248.6 cfm @ .500 lift alone, then 243.8 cfm with the miniram attached, roughly a 2% flow loss.
What are your flow numbers?

Thanks for responding to this thread. According to AFR, the 220's with the competetion package flow 298 cfm at .600 and 300 at .650.I haven't actually flowed the heads or intake myself, but from what I've seen, the intake ,gasket matched to a 1206 probably doesn't flow over 280 cfm. I am going to have a forum member, Jeb Burnett work it over some more.
