Default MiniRam help needed!

I need some help with hooking up the fuel lines, coolant sensors, and vaccum lines on my MiniRam intake. How do I determine which of the 2 coolant sensors is for the cold start? Do I need the coolant line that runs into the rear of the stock intake? Does anyone have some pics?

The cold start sensor is the big light/brown square one. You don't need the coolant line from the rear of the old one. Be sure to plug it off or run some new hoses for the heater. I can't send you any pictures just yet, because I'm currently installing my new motor "383".

Hopefuly someone else will post a picture.

So I can lose the bigger brown coolant sensor, and keep the smaller black sensor. What type of fitting should I use for the 90 degree bend from the intake to the heater hose (I got rid of the IAC coolant crap)? Has anyone switched to steel braided heater hoses? What about the vacuum ports?

Correct on the fittings. As for the adapter, TPIS sent me one. It was basicaly just a bunch of brass fittings that had a place to slip a hose onto. I could have probally have gotten the pieces at Home Depot.

The vacum lines! On the passenger side I have two fittings. One goes to the FPR and the other goes to the climate control stuff behind the dist. On the driver side, I have one vacum fitting. It goes to my brake booster and my PCV.

Do you understand all the T/Body connections?

Thanks for the info. Can you give me the TB info? How do you get the brake booster and PCV onto 1 vacuum fitting? Anything else I need to know?

PS- Where are the rest of the members with MiniRam experience?

"How do you get the brake booster and PCV onto 1 vacuum fitting?"
I used a tee. From the manifold I have a short 2-3" piece of hose that goes straight into a tee fitting (plastic/Kragens) from there it goes to the brake booster and the PCV valve.

How did your throttle/cruise cables hook up? Mine were a pain in the ****.

Do not connect the small hose from the heater to the intake that will inject water into the engine. Plug that hose. Pictures of mine would not help you since I have modified everything so much.

Mine is different from most, but here goes.

Brake booster ties into 3/8" NPT fitting that I drilled into the lower V of the manifold at the back between the distributor and the plenum. I drilled (2) small 1/4" NPT fittings in the back towards the passenger side for the various small hoses (including boost reference and FMU). one of the 3/8" NPT connections on the drivers side is routed via 3/8" aluminum hardline to the PCV. All other ports as supplied by TPIS are plugged.

Picture to follow:
