ZZ4 350 is it a Corvette Engine?

Hi, can anyone shed some light on this ZZ4 350 Aluminum Head Engine?
Was thinking it is an older, i.e., early 80's Corvette engine? Thanks.

Zz4 is a crate motor...jegs was just one place that sold them. Is there an 880xxxx number stamped on the block? I was thinking the alum head blocks were late 80's...

Late 90s had the alum heads. They werent anything special but were better than what was out yrs before thats all and save a little weight

The ZZ4 crate engine used the L98 alumn heads from the Vette, but with springs retainers etc from the LT4. The cam is different from any that went into the vettes. Great dependable crate engine - i got 65,000 miles of pure abuse out of one....
