There is a slight hesitation and over all it feels slugish. It just doesn't have that "kick you back in the seat" feel it once did before I had the motor rebuilt. I just need a good tunner to get the performance out of it. I have a good set up it just needs some TLC :chevy
Pop the air cleaner and take a look down the carb to see if you are getting a good pump squirt. If you went to a bigger cam you may need to change your power valve to a lower number. Check you vacuum readings at idle and cruise. There is not much to tuning a Holley, a little trouble shooting is normally is all it takes.
