Hi guys...I want to order a centerfoce clutch but I need to know the type of crank I have. from the centerfoce website they have 2 different clutches...on requires a 1 1/8-10 input shaft and the other is a 1 1/8-26 input shaft. I take it the last number is the number of splines on the shaft...I know my engine is an L-48 with the cast crank. I would check it myself but I'm far from the engine right now. Does anyone know?
doesntt have anything to do with the crank, the spline count is on the input shaft of the trans. if you have a warner t-10, chances are its a 26 spline.
omg...hahahah you're right. I dunno why I thought about the crank...I have a richmond 5spd...and darn, I just checked the website and it can be a 10 splines or 26...I'm pretty sure its a 10 but I guess I'll hae to check. :(
yeah but since they have both option on their website, I'd rather go check...even if it takes 3 hrs to get there instead of having to return the clutch later on.
