Whats required to make the switch to an electric fuel pump? I'm working on the frame right now and thought it would make sense to upgrade that part so I don't have to pull the body ever again (can you tell I'm tired?) I saw pumps mounted on the side of the tank, what next? Drill new holes in the bottom of the tank? Use the tubins thats already there? What costs am I looking at? etc... Give as much details as u can. Its greatly appreciated.
I am not familiar with C3, but if you decide to go with Holley black pump, part #510-12-815 I can sell you one for half the price. Original price is $139 and it was mounted on my car for couple of months before I took it off.
Again, you might want to go with other brand or smaller less powerfull pump, if you have stock engine and no NOS in the near future this would be overkill for your aplication.

Look at the Sumit or Jegs catalogs and you can find it there.
I removed it, because I had some problems with my fuel pressure changing (I would adjust to 5 psi, and than few minuts later it would be showing 2 psi). Someone sugested to change the fuel pump, but after changing, problem was still there. As you see, I have C4 and I converted it to the carburetor, problem was that I did not change the fuel cap and the tank was getting pressurized as the fuel was drown from the tank, therefore the pressure was changing. This fuel pump is in like new condition, was only run for couple of hours.
