Default Lifter Question(s)

I figured this section of the forum would be the best place to ask...

This is my first engine build with modifications (I've rebuilt motors but just to stock again after a failure, etc).

I have a sbc350 4bolt that came with this engine kit: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/hly-300-503-1

To further complicate things, the cam and lifters in that "engine kit" are part of their own kit.

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/lun-07104lk

The above kit is no longer made and now this one is the current equivalent... https://www.lunatipower.com/Product....d=3838&gid=278

The exact same thing as far as I can tell, just a new part number.

In the last kit I linked, this is the cam: https://www.lunatipower.com/Product....d=2938&gid=278

And these are the lifters: http://www.lunatipower.com/Product.aspx?id=775

I'll spare you all the reason why, but I'm looking to replace the lifters. Obviously, they're hydraulic flat tappets.

QUESTIONS

1. Brand preferences? I'm seeing a lot of Comp Cams and Lunati.

2. Are there any that I'll see/hear/feel a noticeable difference between? This is a car that'll be 60/40 street/track. Probably some auto-x involved.

Here's what I'm thinking...

http://www.compperformancegroupstore...ry_Code=PMHFTL

I think those might work best for this application? I noticed the seat height is lower. 1.93" vs 1.99"? What will this effect? Would I need longer push rods then or?

Thanks in advance for any advice/knowledge you're willing to share.

maybe I'm being too conservative but with all the cam break in issues, I would only place Lunati lifters on a Lunati camshaft

Just an update on this, decided to buy a whole new kit with the cam and lifters.

Undecided on which just yet.
