Guys, some of you probably don't visit C4 tech at all, but I spun a bearing in the engine this sunday because (we think) of a previous oil starvation situation.
Anyways, I want to buy another shortblock to drop in just to get me through the rest of the race season before I can build a 383 for my baby over winter when I have the funds.
I'm having a tough time finding a decent 350 rollercam shortblock. Does anyone have any good leads in the new england area possibly?
I'm willing to spend I think up to $1000 for a strong running entire rollercam L98 that I could just part the heads and intake setup off of that I wouldn't need. I am going to transfer my heads, cam, intake, oil cooler, sensors over to the new one.
Haven't been to one yet, but we don't have a great selection of them around here. Last time I went to one they wanted crazy prices. The other stupid thing in this area is that you now have to have an escort and give them a 'list' of exactly what you need.

Too bad you don't live closer. It's not an L98 but 69L71 was going to use this block for a roller cam setup, claimed it had provisions for the spiders under the intake. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=362597
