8-stack EFI (gulp)
The system uses an Accell Gen VII DFI, full sequential, with their matching dual trigger distributor and ignition system. I've already got the tuning software on my lap top and it looks pretty capable and easy to use. I deleted the Accel fuel pump. Still trying to decide on the Mallory (easiest to fit), Aeromotive or going all out for a Weldon pump. Either should plumb a little easier than the Accel pump into my already installed -8AN lines. I do need to look into if I'll need to have the tank changed to a bottom feed, or if the pump has enough suction to prime from my top feed if the pump itself is located lower than the fuel tank bottom (Monty etc, any ideas on this one?).
Should be ready around the end of the month .. can't wait to start mocking it up for fit.

PS- My new bullet proof Strange 9" rear with a 35 spline locker arrived last night. A real work of art. I'll try to post some update pictures on the project web site this weekend if I can drag the digital camera away from my wife. The axles for the 35 spline setup are HUGE. The guy who setup the gears even signed and dated his work. Nice touch.
Greg, are you doing the fab work on this car yourself? It sounds like quite a project.

You can get a preformed sump from Jeg's/Summit, and weld it to the bottom of the tank. That's what I did. I've run it out of the top of the tank, but as you know, electric pumps are more efficient when they are gravity fed and don't have to pull a head of fuel.
Can't wait to see the pics.
Monty - I've seen the sump kits, but my tank is aluminum and I don't weld aluminum (at least not well enough that I'm willing to do it on MY parts :D ). Since the pump will be below the tank bottom level I don't really see why after the initial prime it would make any difference if it's a sump or a top feed pickup, fuel should still syphon towards the pump in either setup. In my case the lines have to go higher than the tank top to get from the tank to the pump which ever pickup I used (to get up and over the rear axle). There isn't any place to mount the pump behind the rear axle, except possibly to the bottom of the battery tray ... and that just doesn't sound like a good location. Guess I'll run the top feed and see if I have a problem or not.
It is interesting that the boat guys having problems with EFI pumps all have top feed tanks (all boat tanks are) ... but I don't think that is what is causing their problems. At least I sure hope it isn't :) .

When I put my first engine in the car, a Superram DFI 383, I used a single Paxton pump (made by Aeromotive) and had it top mounted. I ran it as a top feeder for 2 years and it worked just fine - the only thing I noticed was that it seemed a little louder than the new pump(s) with the sumped tank. But I doubt a little pump noise is going to be a concern with your project ;).
