Head swap question
Hi Guys,
I have an 06 Z06 which I want to swap heads on due to the valve drop issue.
I have read through a swap procedure on this forum saying something like you have to torque the head bolts to 22ft lbs then with a breaker bar torque another 90% then loosen and retorgue to 22ft lbs.
Is this to seat the head and gasket and then final torque it?, I have always just followed procedure and torqued once and done.
Is the torque loosen and retorgue procedure correct?
