Default C3 heads and cam

have a 73 350 4 speed, with a performer intake stock Q-jet and side pipes. the engine is a GM performance create motor,

I have a set of flat top pistons to drop in , but was wondering on a good set of heads and cam.

maybe some vortecs (I know I'd have to get intake too) .

Which GM 350 crate motor do you have? (Depending upon the model, it may already have flat top or dished pistons in it.)

It would help also if you could say what your rear end ratio is as well as what cylinder heads you currently are using.

If you're just looking for street performance with your current cam, then I'd recommend the Vortec heads and manifold swap. This setup is great for low-end torque you can use on the street.

You want to stay under 185cc on the runner size. To big and she will be lazy. For long term reliability I would go with a hydraulic roller.

The motor needs a taller intake manifold, like a Weiand 8150 or Edelbrock 7101. You're leaving 40 hp on the table with the short manifold. Are you willing to do hood mods?
