Ive sourced a 376 LSX block and now contemplating rotating assembly. I want the motor to be bulletproof and able to turn 1500hp without worry. . Its a full blown race car, and will be boosted plus nitrous. What is best of best? Molnar, Callies?
Im considering possibly destroking and revving to 8000. If I do a 4.125 bore and 3.625 stroke, ill have a 388ci and an over square motor. 1.14 bore/stroke. pair with some high flowing 6 bolt ls7 heads. I think ill need a solid roller for this correct?
The car only weighs 2000lbs, I do not need big torque down low, it will just cause more tire spin and traction issues. so revving it higher and pushing peak tq up higher seems ideal.

with it being a forced induction setup, should I go bigger intake and exhaust ports? if I go solid roller, is crower my only option for rockers? or are there bolt in solutions that don't require machining?
