Default winter project- Bolt on power

I looking into a few bolt on power adds for a winter project. Since I have to replace my Optispark I was going to put on an under drive pulley set. Will I see any noticeable gains? Or is it just good protection for my power steering since I'll be spinning it a little slower. I do a lot of open track events and have replaced the high pressure line twice. Second I thought I'd change my roller rockers to a 1.6 instead of the 1.5's that are stock. If I do that I'll up grade the springs too. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Here is a link with some dyno info from an LT1 F-body concerning the pulley swap.

Concerning the 1.5 to 1.6 swap, I question the cost vs PITA ratio. Overall you won't see a huge gain going to 1.6 and retaining the stock cam. It is a bit of work to swap the springs and rockers. I swapped my rockers and springs when I replaced the cam so that everything would be matched (springs to cam).

See ya,
John
